The Castle of Villebrumier is set in a 4.5 ha (10 acres) property on the banks of the river Tarn. Just across the bridge starts the Fronton wine-growing region, one of the oldest in Europe, where vineyards have existed ever since Roman times, characterized by the unique Négrette grape, found almost nowhere else in the world.

Villebrumier is thirty minutes away from the international Toulouse-Blagnac airport with daily flights to many major European cities, and forty minutes from the center of Toulouse, one of the French city richest with history and traditions, also one of the most beautiful, and the most vibrant as the center of the thriving European aerospace industry.

Twenty minutes away lies the center of Montauban, birthplace of a great painter, Ingres, and a great sculptor, Bourdelle, both of whom have their museums in the city.

Within an hour or two lie other world-famous sites: the Grottes de Lascaux, home to humankind’s oldest art; Limoges, cradle of porcelain; Brive-La-Gaillarde with its unique culinary traditions; and many others.

Many local excursions are available by car, by bike, or simply by walking around. The climate is pleasantly mediterranean, with no big extremes and lots of sun.
